Default JJ - preflop decision.

a lil unsure about what to do here...

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t1200 (8 handed) internettexasholdem.com

UTG (t19958)
UTG+1 (t144474)
MP1 (t57084)
MP2 (t7406)
CO (t33729)
Button (t15758)
SB (t6414)
Jon_AK (t23197)

Preflop: Jon_AK is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls t1200, UTG+1 calls t1200, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises to t6000</font>, <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Jon_AK???

EDIT: average stack was 32,000 at this point in the tournament.

Reads on MP1?

Usually this is a push IMO.

Is UTG an habitual limper or is he the type to limp/reraise with AA or KK?

The raise is around 1/4 of your stack, you're close to committed if you play, so it's push or fold. You could be up against three opponents and most likely one or more of them will connect with an overcard on the board (if they don't already hold an overpair). I curse and fold.

Dependant on reads of all three players. If I seen the UTG l/r from UTG. I would turbo muck. OTherwise shove and pray.

everyone is raising good cards, folding bad ones. At this point, I havent seen anyone clever enough to limp AA, or KK UTG. MP1 has been raising more than anyone else at the table at this point (I figured it was due to his large stack/safety).

Given this read, I would be shoving here.

I also thought that shoving was the right move.

What was the buy-in?
