checking here is essentially telling him that you have either a set or the nuts and if he has half a brain he wont stick a dollar in this pot. On the other hand if you bet and he has anything he will call you down.

If you dont know what to do in this spot you need to work on your game.
Please bet the action flop in a blind battle where no one gives you credit for a hand when you bet and raise.

Not sure why this guy is being ridiculed. He is obviously a beginner. He hasnt held himself out to be an expert. If you think the question is easy or uninteresting don't respond, but I dont see the need to make him feel bad for being less experienced than others here.

When you have the best possible hand you should try to get money in the "pot" because the best hand after last betting round gets all the money in the pot. Winning money is the main goal of poker.
