Default JJ playing 200BB deep, against loose passive villain

Reads:
Villain plays a lot of hands.
VP$IP: 48
He plays extremely timid pf, mostly calls raises, he raised once in 50 hands, he had QQ.
The hand before he won a huge pot with QQ with a rivered flush.
He plays awkward.

Hero checks, CO bets $11, Hero calls $11.

The Q slowed me down, because i've seen him calling flop raises with overs. I call his bet because i put him on TT actually.

reeks of flopped set...especially if hes been check calling a lot of flops.....any other reads? i.e...RR c bets w/ draws or such? ive seen lots of knuckleheads bet the same way when a picture card falls on turn when the have flopped set (1/3 pot) on dry boards, hoping you hit and going in for kill on river.....

if he had a flopped set he would have pushed all in on the flop after you 3bet him ... so that is out of his range

he could easily have A9,TT,56,78

you played it fine against someone loose

thats why im wondering if he had other reads on villian, sure on a board like that a solid player is going AI in flop w/ set, but obviously this guys not solid, cant really take a set out of his range, but he is beating plenty of hands as well.....

3betting the flop turns your hand into a bluff. I'd be shocked to see JJ to be good here.

i really agree with corsakh here...
the flop 3bet is imo very bad. there are hardly any hands you beat here that call your 3bet. you said that you saw villain call flop bets just with overs but he didnīt call your flop bet he called a 3 bet.
aspecially after he flat calls the flop 3bet and bets the turn im never calling here.
i call flop and reevaluate on the turn.

i think i should have called the flop, and check folded the turn

he turned over QQ

he threw me off, i thought he would 3bet hands like that, but i should have known better

the hand before he had QQ, too (pretty lucky :/), and he didnt 3bet there as well

i should pay more attention

That's such a dry flop. He's not calling your reraise on the flop with a draw. He fired out 1/3 pot on the turn which makes it look like he's sucking you in. If he had like A9 I think he'd fold on the flop.
