Default online poker in DC and virginia

I play professionally and mostly online and was thinking of moving with some friends to the Washington DC/Virginia area but am not sure about the law in those states regarding online poker. Is it legal or illegal?

I'm pretty much out there and live in N. VA, the neither the IRS nor the DOJ had been to see me yet..........

As far as I know I haven't broken any laws. We even have freeroll bar leagues with cash prizes in the N. VA area. There are some very high stakes cash games going on here, with HI type vacation, and new car bets common. Heck given the housing prices here there was enough cash sorry chips on the table to buy pretty much any house you want in the area.

The commute is a b.tch, people here can drive for $hit.

So come for the poker but you are going to pay the price in many other ways....

D$D<--- not VA's best ambasador.........
