PLO100 - Aces turn NFD against regular potting turn
PLO100 3-handed
I have $150 and cover Villain. I've played lots of HU, short-handed and FR with him and we have respect for each other. He is generally very aggro with the nuts or strong hands, but has dropped 1 1/2 buy-ins so far (I stacked half a buy-in when I flopped the nut boat when he potted preflop, turned a better boat and bet/called his shove and he had an overpair and NFD). He knows I raises preflop with lots of hands and don't necessarily have AAxx. Hero raises to $3.00 with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Villain calls, BB calls. Flop 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain checks, BB checks, Hero bets $6, Villain calls, BB folds. Turn 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Villain bets $24.50, Hero? |

Re: PLO100 - Aces turn NFD against regular potting turn
calling is fine here - if hes got 2 pair you have plenty of outs and your NFD is well concealed. if you hit on the river just pot it when he checks as it will look more like a steal

Re: PLO100 - Aces turn NFD against regular potting turn
Given the description, I'd tend to shove the turn as long as I felt I was properly rolled for the game, and not in shot-taking mode. Though, his flop peeling tendencies and his view of your propensity to fire the 2nd barrel could change that. I really don't like calling because you're deep enough that you're going to be in a pretty crappy spot on quite a few river cards. Basically, you have to think your hand is still good/has good equity against his range (which I think it definitely is/does) pretty often to justify seeing the river at all, so I'd just get it in and gamble.
