QQ gets 3-bet by reg
Villian is a reg who is pretty decent and has not been out of line so far, but I have not played that many hands with him.
Stacks are around 100BB. NL 1/2 6-max. Hero opens 8 from CO with QQ. Villian raises to 25. Hero calls. Flop: 6 7 J r (pot 52) Villian bets 38. Hero calls. Turn: 9 Villian checks. Hero checks. (Do you like this turn check?) River K. (pot 128) Do you bet this river? He could easily have AK here. Would you raise the flop? Obv he is only calling a raise with a better hand on the flop, so, do we decide that we´re ahead and just push? |

Re: QQ gets 3-bet by reg
You are very mistaken if you think raising the flop only gets called by better. You should bet the turn for value and protection.

Re: QQ gets 3-bet by reg
true, when I think about it I got called down with 88 in a similiar situation the other day.
I think that a flop call is probably better than a flop raise, but I do agree that not betting the turn i very bad. |

Re: QQ gets 3-bet by reg
A lot of this definitely depends on how 3bet happy of a reg he is. Against some guys I'd play this the same because raising flop would be gigantic spew.
