Default NL50 - Getting big odds, but not much of a hand

Might be a dumb hand to post, but when I was reviewing this I wasn't sure what was the correct thing to do. Only 10 hands on villian, nothing notable.

So I try to steal with a SC, probably OK. I flop just a gutshot, so I CB, again probably OK. Then he pushes... I'm getting a bit less than 5:1.

If he has an overpair or pair of 6's i'm not getting the right price to draw at a gutshot. If he has no pair, then I think i'm getting sufficient odds. If he has no pair, but a FD then i'm probably still getting the right price.

Is this just a spot to say F it and gambool? Were my actions up to this point reasonable?

If he is a "good" shortstack then I dont c-bet since he wont call preflop unless he is going all the way.

If he is a donkish shortstack then since a c-bet pushes you over the commitment threshold you can just shove if you think he calls with random crap.
