Default NL100 - KK in multiway pot

Villain is 26/14 over 150 hands.

Poker770 0.50/1.00, hand converted by the iPoker Converter at Talking-Poker

Button ($110.30)
SB Hero ($101.40)
BB BB ($153.85)
UTG ($98.70)
UTG+1 ($127.80)
CO ($108.40)

Preflop: Hero is in the SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG calls 1.00, 1 fold, CO calls 1.00, 1 fold, Hero raises to 4.50, BB calls 4.00, UTG calls 4.00, CO calls 4.00.

Flop (20.00) 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero bets 12.00, BB calls 12.00, 2 folds.

Turn (44.00) 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero checks planning to cf because he's not beating anything , BB bets 35.00, 1 fold

Am I being too weak here ? I don't think I'm beating anything apart from 78 ... Maybe I should have potted the flop to prevent hands like 78 from calling ?

Also, is preflop standard ? I usually raise this amount and it's not often that I get so many callers.

As played I would bet ~22 turn. The small flopbet allows a blockbet on the turn.
I would size the entire hand differently and check the turn(my flopbet would be larger, partly because no matter what I raise more preflop always)
and after betting 6-7 pre then 97% pot on the flop I cant really afford a halfpot blockbet.(if there where multiple callers preflop) I can afford a 15$ bet into a 80pot but how profitable that would be idk. I would just play this hand so large that when he calls flop I know im beat, and I get value when im not.

raise more pre-flop, bet more on the flop.

did you really check/fold this turn? if so, that's really bad. so much random crap is calling your flop bet, such as 88/78s/56s, etc...and we even beat 67 now. TT is even in his range. 26/14s usually have a pretty wide pre-flop cold-calling range.

i'd bet enough on the turn to set up a river bet of about 1/2 pot.
