Default AXs (weak)--Ace hits but 3-flush flop.....

BODOG 3/6
Hero limps in MP with A7ss. 6 to flop. No reads.

Flop AT6hhh. c, c, c, hero c, co bet, sb c/r, bb f, utg f, hero folds, standard? Even if we're ahead here we are at least 40% to lose and may be virtually dead.

Flop check of TPNK on 3 flush-board?

I'd bet the flop. As played 100% good.

Dont like the flop check here, but its not too terrible when you consider that its a 6 way pot. Your relative position is such that you can see how the action develops and plan accordingly. I still prefer a flop bet though.

There's one person behind him it seems. I agree if there are more than two behind you then checking is all right, but with two or less I'd just chuck a bet in there.

Also I think the difference between 4 and 8 players on a flop like this matters less than on a rainbow board.

Most players aren't folding a decent heart here and most aren't calling without one. I think a bet is likely paying off a draw, and making nothing from a hand with less equity than our's.

how is betting "paying off a draw"?
We're a favorite over most draws...

hmm thought there were only 2 checks. Its close, but again I think checking isnt so bad, bc it allows us to get a better handle on our equity. we can just call when several people in front do and cr a late position bet with only 1 caller behind. I never employ this line, but Ive often thought about it in spots like this and I dont think it can be that bad. Personally, I think either opening or folding this hand in mp would obviate the need to do any of this analysis.

Ok I see we have an EP limper. Not clear in OP.
