NL25: JTs (FD+Gut Shot +TP)
Pre-Flop: 95% of the time I fold this..(because pokertracker tells me I'm losing money with it OOP and I'm afraid of a raise behind; incidentally, that's exactly what happened.)
FWIW..UTG had been involved in all but one hand since he entered the table (14 hands ago).. Do you play the turn differently vs. a regular TAG? All comments appreciated. I'd raise flop to $9.
Call shove. |

Re: NL25: JTs (FD+Gut Shot +TP)
I raise the flop almost every time here and call if he pushes. If UTG is really so loose as you say he has hands like AJ/KJ/89 here often enough to take a chance to win a coinflip with a little bit of +EV. Even if he has a set you win about 30% of the time.
[ QUOTE ] I'd raise turn. Make it $9 to go. Call shove. [/ QUOTE ] Villain already went all-in. Also if played like this, I would call the turn. |

I actually thought the flop call was the only thing i did right? [/ QUOTE ] You have a monster draw here with tons of outs and two cards to come so getting as much money in as possible is the most +EV move. Next time raise the flop and call if villain pushes. You will get a maximum value for your flush/trips/two pairs/rr straight. If you only call and the turn comes a third heart, you wont get much action from hands like QQ which you would have been ahead on the flop anyways. |
