(which he could do with the FD+2 overs). is call flop, reconsider (likely call a non-h) turn a better line? please give reasons. Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players) Hero raises to $14.00, SB calls $12.00, BB folds Flop: ($32) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB bets $21.00, Hero ? |

Re: 400NL: 3 handed with an overpair
make it $80. calling flop is not so good, because there are alot of cards that could make you unhappy on the turn (Q,K,A, hearts, 9, etc). If he is willing to get it in with a FD, then you need to call a push.

Re: 400NL: 3 handed with an overpair
I'd raise flop and call a push usually, especially 3-handed.
I see more merit calling the flop with KK+ as there are less scare cards. |

I would raise and call a push.
