Is there any gaming commission that regulates online blackjack? Before I consider putting any money into it, I would like to know how legit it is.

Most sites use independent accounting firms, and there is state oversight in some jurisdictions. I wouldn't put any faith in the former, and not much in the latter unless in a country like US, UK, CA, AU.
