WCOOP - synchronize the breaks
When PokerStars holds two WCOOP events on the same day, the breaks should be scheduled to run simultaneously.
Otherwise, someone playing both events gets no time off. If the second WCOOP event starts at 16:30, then its first break should be after 38 minutes of play, the next after 98 minutes of play, then 158 minutes, and so forth. It is nonstandard, but I imagine the software can handle it. It isn’t too late to make the change for remaining events this year: the affected events are #11, #13, #20, and #22. |

Re: WCOOP - synchronize the breaks
Problem with this is that you wait for the other tables to finish so they wouldn't sync up. Also, the 15 and 30 min breaks would mess it up.

Re: WCOOP - synchronize the breaks
These really aren't problems. You just add in three extra minutes to account for the actual start time of the second break of the first tournament (that's why I said 38 minutes, not 35). They won't be synchronized to the precise second, but it will be within about a minute and a half -- much better than the current situation of no overlap at all in the break times.
Also just change the times of the 15- and 30-minute breaks so they are synchronized. |
