Default 50NL: Who played this worse?

I was playing some drunken poker last night and this hand got some good table talk going. Personally I think its a push, I totally donked pre-flop and flop and he screwed up the turn and river.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (7 handed) pokerhand.org hand converter

Hero ($50)
MP1 ($40.45)
MP2 ($34.35)
CO ($50)
Button ($36.25)
SB ($30.55)
BB ($56.05)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $0.50.
Hero calls $0.50, MP1 calls $0.50, 1 fold, CO (poster) checks, 1 fold, SB raises to $2, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.50, MP1 calls $1.50, CO folds.

Flop: ($7) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets $3, Hero calls $3, MP1 calls $3.

Turn: ($16) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB bets $3, Hero raises to $10, MP1 folds, SB calls $7.

River: ($33) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $16, SB calls $15.55 (All-In).

Final Pot: $64.55

Results in white below:
Hero has Qh Th (straight, ten high).
SB has Ac Ad (one pair, aces).
Outcome: Hero wins $64.55.

Other some some minor issues with preflop I have no problems with hero's play really.

And he messed up flop too which you didn't mention.

You both played horribly, with you playing more horribly.

I picked "you both suck," but villain really blew all four streets. FWIW, I think you played the flop better than the turn. Obviously you played the river perfectly, so maybe villain sucked more.

i don't know why people say you played it worse. that doesn't make sense.

here's a guy betting 3 bucks into a 16 dollar pot.

then the same guy is calling the rest of his stack on a 1 straight. you can't play worse than that.

I am going with villian; you played it bad preflop; his bet OOP on the flop was terrible. Turn raise was strange, since now JT just became the nuts.

On second thought, MP1 played it the worse, what the hell was he doing?

Hero picked about the worst turn line imaginable other than folding.

With the exception of preflop I think you played it allright. I would raise flop before I raised turn but its not completly superbad (not very good either though). Villain deffinately played way worse.

UTG with QTs, raise or fold preflop with a strong tendency to fold.

Fold to the raise from SB. Your relative position post flop will stink. SB will act, then you, then everybody else still in the hand.

Calling the flop bet with a sneaky double gutter is fine, but your poor position with MP1 still to act puts you at risk of getting raised off your draw.

I don't know what to make of your turn raise. If you want to make a big play here, then make a big raise. A pot-sized raise would just about put everybody all-in. So, I think I'd rather just call the little bet or push, given the stack sizes.

As for the river, you're bet is for value with the straight, and SB is pot-committed with almost anything.

I voted for "you both suck." I don't think you really suck, but I think you should have folded preflop. After that, I think you should have pushed the turn if you didn't want to just call the $3.

As for the aces guy, he should have raised more preflop. Bet more on the flop. And if he still had plenty left on the turn, possibly checked there, but the board is so coordinated it's hard to say. My guess is that if he'd raise more preflop and bet more on the flop that he'd be committed to either CRAI on the turn or push. His small raise preflop, and small bets on every street were a good way to lose a lot OOP with aces.
