Coldcalling when you are UTG+1
Preflop question. NL400 6max. UTG raises. You are UTG+1. How do you play your hands? I'm sure you 3-bet some of your hands; I'm sure you fold a lot of your hands. But do you ever cold-call and if yes, which hands?
I understand that this is a very general question, and I understand that "it depends". So assume UTG is a TAG (21/17/3,5 or something, and assume the preflop table statistics are 25/13. |

66-JJ maybe even QQ, sometimes throw in some lower pocket pairs and AQs and Ak of course.

I coldcall 22-TT pretty often.

Re: Coldcalling when you are UTG+1
If you cold-call TT and an aggressive TAG squeezes from the blinds (you know he can do it light), how do you go about deciding whether to shove or call?

Against an aggressive Tag I would always continue, shove most of the time.

U know he can do it strong from the blinds too so why not wait with 1010 at best its a flip.

this is pretty much the perfect spot to cold call everything.

Re: Coldcalling when you are UTG+1
this is a pretty intresting subject imo, ive seen a few posts lately where someone open UTG and Hero cold-calls in MP with QQ and have tried to get some discussion on it. I 3-bet the absolute majority of the time (pretty often calling with 99-JJ though) in that spot but calling is probably superior most of the time (often even with other hands like AA, KK, AK) with todays conditions with squeezing pretty common etc.

I like cold-calling here with JJ-QQ pretty often.
