quick question.

how often do you guys drop like 5-6 buyins? I just dropped 6 in 200nl in less than 2k hands, all today. is this normal variance for this game? cause it seems kinda crazy, most of it is just flat out running bad.

Go back and look at the hands. Did you play each one correctly? If yes, than this is varience. Not sure how you expect people on here to know if your loss was due to varience or bad play without seeing the hands.

Mathmatically its possible to drop 2000 buyins in 2000 hands, its a bit unlikely but possible. [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I once had a downswing of 5-6 small pots for a total of 1.433 buyins, but that was extreme.

LOL, if your not playing weak tight, 6 buyins in 2k hands should be standard; at least for me. If your dropping 20 buyins in 10k hands, then it's time to retool. Im my case I dropped 23 buyins when I took my shot at 400NL. It was over 4k hands so I was just running bad and THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH MY GAME AND I WAS NOT TILTILNG. lololol

It happens quite often, however, you always have room to improve and should definitely analyze the hands you got it in behind and try to avoid doing that in the future. Usually at least a couple of them will have been bad plays.
