I'm probably pushing wider in these spots.

I like the J9 push and would think it's +ev against some ranges. What ranges did you use?

Q6 really sucks though so I'm not as thrilled w/ that one.

* I like the first more, too.
* 2nd hand : fold and wait next hand ? Not sure it will be any better than Q high at all

I don't shove their with the Q 6 . i agree with you when you say you could wait for a better hand than q high

I push the first and fold the second.

You're obviously in a bad spot in the second, but Q6 is just so ugly. I take my chances with the next hand. If it's total trash I hold my breath and hope for something good as the blinds hit.

I'm really not sure what's best. I would usually push Q8, Qxs here w/out a problem so it's really close. We are the shortest stack so pushing can't be horrible but we're also pushing into the largest stacks so our FE is even lower. Also, there's always a good chance someone else will make a mistake and bust out. Bottom line, I like a fold but could be convinced otherwise.

if you shove any next hand, you are way more likely to get called, since there is one more player behind you and the 2nd shortie has the bb.
as i write this, i realize that it's better to push in the 2nd shortie because his chips are more valuable for you.
i still like it.
