Default Flop a set, check twice or just bet

Bad 20 game. Everyone is a regular, a few are on the list for 40-80. They've been having a tough time getting pots big enough for time pots.

Hero raises TT utg, presumably tight ABC player 3bets next in, HU

JT3r
Hero checks, villain checks
Turn's a brick
Hero?

You're either trying to squeeze blood out of a rock or giving free cards that can hurt you. Just bet the flop, and if you were trying to c/r certainly bet the turn.

bet, he's got AK here a lot here which is a 10 out hand against you. You want him to fold. This isn't the time to get tricky. If he raises, I don't 3 bet and call down hating myself expecting to see JJ.

Hero has a set. AK would only have 4 outs.

Isn't this a bit results oriented? The 3-bettor is expected to bet the flop heads up in position. It doesn't matter what his hand is.

Only the real weak-tighties check behind on the flop. Unless he flopped a set of Js, in which case it's still wrong.

As played bet the turn, bet the river, watch AK call down hoping you have AQ.
