Villain is an unkown and 48bb short. Its my first orbit on this table.
How should Hero react to this donkbet and whats the play for further streets?

Call and reevaluate turn..he donks again on a brick turn u have a decision to make...usually villain has some kind of draw or he connected with a little something on the flop..

This is usually a ridiculously weak hand hoping you missed the flop or he trapped with a big pair preflop. Most of the time its the first so I usually just reraise and stack off here if it gets to it. I find that if they did trap with a big pair preflop they tend to bet big on the flop. $10 into $18 looks too weak to be a big pair.
