NJ State Poker Championship
Anyone have any information on the NJ state championships. I think it is supposed to be at the Hilton. Thanks.

Re: NJ State Poker Championship
It is Sept. 8-9 and the buy-in is $300+30. I'd just call the Hilton if you need more details. |

Re: NJ State Poker Championship
Horrible timing. Not likely to be much of a turnout (of course there never is at the Hilton). Everyone will be at the Borgata Open. Someone at the Hilton didn't plan very well...

Re: NJ State Poker Championship
I'm sure the timing is intentional. They are probably trying to draw people who were in AC for the early Borgata events ($500, $750), but who can't afford the $1500 event on 9/8. And there are a lot of these people...the $500 Poker Open event gets about 3x as many entries as the $1500. Not to say these people will play at Hilton, but I understand the logic. |

Re: NJ State Poker Championship
I plan on playing in it. Its not a very well advertised event and good luck finding out anything about it on their website other then the date. I would def call the poker room to get more info on it. Poker room # 609-340-7545.
I do know that they are running daily MTT super satellites M-F @ 7pm 33+10 |
