Did you ever work as a bouncer?

I might interview for a job managing a bar and the guy lists part of the duties as being a bouncer. It is supposed to be a college bar so it shouldn't be too bad.. but I am like 5'10 160lb. not stereotypical bouncer material. how often am I going to get my ass kicked?

You will almost never get your ass kicked, there should be other bouncers. Also a college bar is probably the worst place for fights etc.

I was a bouncer one summer. I think you should be ok at a college bar, as long as there is at least one other guy there, being bartender or whatever that you think could somewhat hold his own. If its just you and a bunch of chick bartenders I def think u'll run into a few problems.
