a fold
full ring 8-16.
UTG+1 has only been here a couple of orbits, but my initial impression is that he's moderately loose and mostly passive. I know for sure he's made some bad PF calls from early position with junky suited hands. MP2 is playing pretty loose-passive as well (but doesn't usually make atrocious PF calls) and he has been cold-calling a lot PF and rarely 3-betting. Post-flop he can lay down a hand, but often peels pretty light and sometimes calls down with marginal holdings. PF Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 limps, Hero raies, MP2 calls, CO call, BB calls, UTG+1 calls. Flop Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players, 10.5 SB) UTG+1 checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls, CO folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls. Turn T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players, 6.5 BB) UTG+1 bets, Hero folds... too tight? ridiculously standard? boring post? |

Re: a fold
Since we arent closing the action and against a passive opponent I think a fold is good.

Re: a fold
I'm calling down or raising here, he might be getting jiggy w/a worse Q or some other bs bluff.

Re: a fold
i think its a good fold.
when donked into on the turn with fairly good hands, i think you really, really, really have to focus on the player, more than other spots. vs solid/tags i think you have to prepare to call down a lot, cuz they'll bet/3-bet and put you into an awkard fold/call down spot if you raise. and they'll also bluff some/bet draws so you have to call down more. vs. weak players you can raise a lot. you can fold comfortably to a 3-bet from them, and you can get them to fold some hands with a decent amount of outs. vs. more passive types, you can find a good fold more. seems like your read is more passive for the villain here, so fold IMO. |
