NL50 - 2 hands, how did I do?
Been at the table for about 50 hands, not too many reads, play is mediocre at best.
Do all streets look ok? Hand 1: Hero is dealt Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG Calls .50 Hero raises to 2.50 SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls. Flop: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG Checks, Hero bets $4, UTG raises to $8 Hero?!??!?! Hand 2: Hero is dealt AK [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG+1 raises to 1.75 Hero reraises to 4.50 Folds all around, UTG+1 calls. Flop: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG+1 checks, Hero??? (checks) Turn: 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG+1 bets 6.00 Hero???? (calls) River: Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG+1 bets 17.00 Hero raises to 35.00 and is all in. |

Re: NL50 - 2 hands, how did I do?
i assume 100bb's here.
hand 1: I call flop and go all-in on any non-T turn. hand 2: I bet flop here, but I could be wrong. |

Re: NL50 - 2 hands, how did I do?
We will of course want to change our minds as soon as you tell us about stack sizes. Thx.
Hand 1: I might felt on the flop here with smaller stacks but not necessarily against every one, all the time. Hand 2: Hero definitely ought to consider betting the flop. Maybe you get C/Red again but that's no reason not to c-bet the c-bettiest flop in c-bet history. |

Re: NL50 - 2 hands, how did I do?
1st: I would call and re-evaluate on the turn.
2nd: I would make it 6 preflop and c-bet the flop 90% of the time. As played, I call the turn too. |

Re: NL50 - 2 hands, how did I do?
This is for Hand #2
My problem with the C-bet on a flop like this is alot of players(donks) have picked up on the C-bet and have no problem C/R'ing ragged flops like this....If I am put in a spot like that I have to toss. I felt that at best I am still ahead and at worse I am up against a pocket pair...he did raise and I reraised, smooth call screams PP pair to me. For I all know he could have hit a set. |

Re: NL50 - 2 hands, how did I do?
Did you tell him you were playing AK suited when you made the initial raise? He doesn't know YOU'RE not betting a pocket pair, flopped set, or two high cards. Unless I have stats on him saying he CRs a lot, I'm not too worried about drawing dead - at least not enough to not c-bet in position.

cbet hand 2 every time. [/ QUOTE ] K, point taken...say I C-bet Hand 2 for 75%-100% of the pot. Toss to a C/R, call a turn bet if a club or A or K falls? |

Re: NL50 - 2 hands, how did I do?
I reraise flop in hand one.
Cbet flop in hand 2. You reraised preflop, now bet the flop with your Aces! (You obviously have Aces, you reraised preflop and lead the flop!) After leading the flop, I either fire a second barrel or check the turn and either bet or shove the river. Stack sizes and player stats reads make the decisions. |
