$33- 2 EP limpers, me AK
Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Tournament Blinds: t50/t100 7 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: t5550 UTG+1: t2610 Hero: t1840 CO: t1000 Button: t5010 SB: t2500 BB: t1490 Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is MP1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG calls t100 (pot was t250), UTG+1 calls t100 (pot was t350), Hero? Those villains limp quite a bit. 1/5 of my stack in the pot looks like a shove but there are still 4 players to act. |

Re: $33- 2 EP limpers, me AK
shove...i like to stick to the rule 3xBB + 1BB/limpers but that would mean 500 which would commit you anyway. shove is a really standard and profitable play here IMO. Those to act behind you will hardly call anything <99..so its only TT,JJ,QQ you flip with...AA and KK you are behind any other ace you dominate. i think best play is to push here.

Re: $33- 2 EP limpers, me AK
odd stack for this situation. a raise to 400 is gonna leave you with 1400 in a 1050 pot, so any type of c-bet is gonna pot committ you, also making postflop play for villian really easy.
so i just push, especially against a couple of loose limpers. picking up 350 chips is nice. |

Like John says.
+ pushing AK from HJ with 18 BB is still +EV anyway, so don't worry about that. |
