JJ live 5/10 at WPT in biloxi
This is sort of a branch off from the 2/5 hand I just posted.
2 limpers to me in MP with JJ and 1400. I make it 60. Hijack calls. He's a regular decent tight live player and has me covered. Heads up. Flop: 2s 3h 6s I bet 100. HJ makes it 300 total. I don't want to play a $700 pot oop with $900 left to bet with jacks on this board unless I'm trying to get it allin on a safe turn. So is this allin or fold on the flop? |

Re: JJ live 5/10 at WPT in biloxi
check flop maybe, your very exposed to being bluffed given a) he is a decent tight regular but mainly b) becuase you will so rarely of hit the flop hard, whereas he can represent he has.
online with smaller stacks im more likely going to fire, whereas live and deeper im not. |

Fold looks good vs a tight/decent player. Check/call flop is also good.

Re: JJ live 5/10 at WPT in biloxi
looks like that classical live-donkey move, "raise to know where I'm at" with something like 77/88/99.
Live I'd call or min-3bet trying to get it in on the turn. Looks like you're ahead and he's drawing to 2 outs (maybe more if he has 44/55), no reason to push. Consider that an high card on the turn kills your action. I can fold this only with strong reads (i.e. already seen villain cold call aces before) WARNING: I'd never play this way online, but I havo so little respect for live players.... |
