87s HU
So playing HU again. This site has unusual rules so SB acts first on every round. Villain strikes me as a bit weak tight .
I have 87s in the SB and open for a raise, villain 3-bets I call. Flopis 644 none of my suit, I check call. Turn is a 7 I CR... |

Re: 87s HU
Looks good to me so far Sushi.
I suppose that I would call down if 3-bet unless you improve to a straight or boat on the river. |

Re: 87s HU
Flop could be a check/raise depending on what you think his range is and what he folds, I'd be more inclined to check/raise on a non flush draw flop. Turn is pretty standard.

Re: 87s HU
I'm check-folding the flop. You said he's tight-weak? This means he's not going to be 3betting you lightly and definitely not betting the flop unless he has a made hand. I'm outta here.

HU if you C/F this you're gonna get run over [/ QUOTE ] Really? Unimproved 8 high against a tight-weak who 3bet us preflop? Well, maybe not quite unimproved; I guess we have a gutshot. I'm probably leaking a bit here because I really don't understand why c/f is bad here. I would appreciate your thoughts on it, though. EDIT: Ignore me. Did not notice that this was a heads up game (see below post). |

Re: 87s HU
Whoops. I misunderstood.
Was thinking it was a ring game that was heads-up on the flop, not a heads-up game. Sorry! Ignore me! |
