Hi all. Here i'm posting two hands I played involving suited connectors. I'd appreciate your input on prefolp and postflop play.
Hand One: Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 10 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $2.00 BB: $20.14 UTG: $10.00 UTG+1: $3.75 UTG+2: $1.70 MP1: $10.00 MP2: $5.37 MP3: $10.42 CO: $12.19 Waffles (BTN): $10.75 Preflop: Waffles is dealt 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (10 Players) UTG calls $0.10, UTG+1 calls $0.10, 3 folds, MP3 raises to $0.30, CO folds, Waffles calls $0.30, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.20, UTG+1 calls $0.20 Flop: ($1.35) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 Players) UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 checks, Waffles bets $1.00, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $1.00, MP3 folds Turn: ($3.35) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) UTG+1 checks, Waffles checks River: ($3.35) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players) UTG+1 checks, Waffles checks Pot Size: $3.35 ($0.16 Rake) Reads - UTG is 44/3.4/1.2 over ~60 hands. MP3 is 42/14.6/3 over about 50. It's a small sample but it gives a rough indication. This hand was a while ago so I dont remember any specific plays they made before. Should I have bet the turn or river? Hand 2: Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 10 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $1.80 BB: $7.90 UTG: $10.00 UTG+1: $1.85 UTG+2: $6.10 MP1: $10.62 MP2: $9.90 MP3: $9.05 CO: $13.04 Waffles (BTN): $9.85 CO posts $0.15 Preflop: Waffles is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (10 Players) UTG calls $0.10, 2 folds, MP1 calls $0.10, 2 folds, CO checks, Waffles calls $0.10, SB calls $0.05, BB checks Flop: ($0.60) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players) SB bets $0.20, 3 folds, CO raises to $0.40, Waffles calls $0.40, SB folds Turn: ($1.60) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) CO bets $0.30, Waffles raises to $1.50, CO calls $1.20 River: ($4.60) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) CO checks, Waffles bets $3.00, CO folds Pot Size: $7.60 Should I have raised this PF? Reads - UTG and MP2 are both donkeys (around 40/5) but with high post flop agg. factors. CO seems tight at 12.8/7.7/4 so far this session. I've been playing similar to CO so far this session. Is the river bet inspired or moronic? What about raising the turn? Any input welcome |

Re: NL10: Two suited connector hands, 1 OESD and 1 FD
Hand one looks fine, I don't imagine you fold anything that beats you. You can reraise these from time to time on the button for a ghangeup too.
Hand two I raise PF definitely. I like your line. Turn raise is fine. On the river you have repped a big hand and really need to follow through. |

Re: NL10: Two suited connector hands, 1 OESD and 1 FD
Hand 1: I'm betting $2 on the river. He's check called your flop bet, then checked too you twice, i doubt he has anything.
Hand 2: It's fine, he missed his FD so your good too steal. |
