FTP: 55k JJ UTG

Last hand before first break. I've been card dead and tight. Villain has been pretty much standard/taggy. After he 3bets he types, "Fold and go on break." I don't count that kind of stuff for much of a read, but maybe some do. My stack size was a bit awkward bc I hate calling off 25% of my stack to fold overcard flops, but I'm sure if I jam it now I'm only called by QQ+, AK and he's clearly not 3betting light here. Anyway, I decided to call and ship it on non A/K flops. Of course that also sucks bc AK will probably get away and I still go broke against the bigger pairs. Thoughts?

I think I fold preflop.
Basically anytime anyone ever chats they have AA.
Factor in the fact that he is 3betting an UTG raise and it isn't close.

well said. and when people type they dont necessarily have aces. they just have the effective nuts at that time.
