??? Hitchens' accent isn't that thick. I find him quite easy to understand.
But then again my parents are British.

Has anyone else been watching him debate and lecture on google video? theres a ton of good stuff.

I watched all of that, 3 hours of Hitchens goodness. Whether you agree or disagree with him at least his views are incredibly well articulated and grounded in reason.

I've also been watching the various debates from his book tour, on both Google video and YouTube. It would be great to have a thread somewhere where all the latest videos were posted, I'm not sure where the most appropriate place for that would be. www.richarddawkins.net often posts the good ones (as relating to religion anyway).

meh, you dont need this. just search for hitchens on google video and change the drop down thingy to arrange the results by date. Set the video length to long (>20min) and you get all the long interview and lectures.
speaking of, have you watched the stuff on George Orwell. After watching the episode of Think Tank w/him and John Rodden and another long lecture, I went out and bought 'homage to catalonia' and really enjoyed it.

Yes this is the best way to find his stuff for sure. I was thinking perhaps of a single thread to discuss the latest findings, rather than simply distribute them. Given the barnstorming nature of this thread though I guess people are happy without [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
