Default Calling a river 3bet

Villain has maniacal stats but I haven't noticed him out of line yet during this session. His stats are over a several hundred hands and something like 50/25/2 (not the same guy from the other post).

If he's a maniac I would not want to fold. I think he has hands like J7 (or worse) often enough to call here.

edit: Not sure I would put in another raise though-maybe a bit spewy even against a maniac.

insta-call getting 13-1 IMO. Way too many low 2 pair combos out there to fold.

seems like you were at the table, everything that tells us anything about poker tells us this is an easy call, but you had that sick "GARGAMEL THIS MOFO HAS A STRAIGHT" feeling. I'd say you can go with that feeling 1 time in a session because that feeling won't be the same next time (you'll have that "sick he has it again!?!" feeling but it's just you kinda tilting).

In the simplest sense, this is a super easy call. It's closer to a cap than a fold.
