Where are trendy international travel destinations for young people?
My dad always tells me stories of his trips to the Costa del Sol in Spain during the late 70's, and how young people from england, france, germany, south africa, and scandanavia would flock there for magnificent vactions. However, it now seems that these places are either overdeveloped, spoiled, or inaccessible to anyone but the super-rich. So my question, mainly for the Europeans I suppose, is where is the best place for fun in the sun these days?

obv not the Costa's anymore.
Nowadays its only 15-16 y/o white trash drinking too much and praying for their first sexcapade's there. Ibiza is cool, but expensive. Other spanish islands like Tenerife, Gran Canaria etc are fine too. Most of the islands neer greece seem to be still fun and not too tacky. (Kos, Rhodos, Malta, Cyprus, Kreta). Also the southwest of france is where lots of young ppl go, Biarritz, San Sebastian etc. But since ur American u could just aswell go to Aruba, Curacao, Dominican Republic or whatever.... they're not that much different as holiday destinations.
