i thought i might be a good idea to have a forum about diffret casinos and cardrooms in diffrent contries? i am intressting because i am going to london.. [/ QUOTE ] It's not like you're the only dude to ever visit London. You might be interesting, but you gotta come up with more to really convince me. If you'd said "The Ivory Coast" or "Timbuktu" I might have been listening. Serious reply: If you're going to London I have to recommend The Vic (Grosvenor Casino). I was in London 2-3 months ago and spent most of my poker-playing time there. They spread games from as low as £0,5/£1 to as high as you want. The biggest games seemed to be pot limit though, but I wasn't there for more than 3-4 days so that may not always be the case. There is a dress code, but all it means is that you should wear decent looking shoes and no holes in your jeans. Oh, and the rake is pretty low for live poker. The £1/£3 game that I played most of the time had an hourly rake of £10 which has to be considered pretty good. For more info, try the Brick & Mortar for casino-related advice or the Travel Froum for more general info. |
