Default Is this a call maybe?

FTP Daily double 12 left.

I'm thinking it's maybe a call only because it's gonna encourage the shorty in, which means it's gonna be a protected pot and such. Also the OR is pretty short, and the other guy gives some good implied odds.

I'd fold this usually, but it just got me thinking.

I don't see how you can consider calling here with a hand that will be dominated like everytime. What range do u give OR (who is opening for about 1/2 of a 10BB stack?) That seems kinda weird/strong...knowing that the BB is protected by his short stack? Even with BB AI, you're going to be able showdown your hand here cheap. I just don't see any value here at all.

Fancy Play Syndrome:

Usually characterized by making plays under the assumption that odd events will occur, that our opponents will over-read our hand and/or have multiple levels to their thinking that they usually will not. Often used to describe where Hero is making bad wagers under faulty assumptions. Playing big pot hands slow and small hands big is usually FPS. We get wrapped up in the multiple levels of poker and end up making bad wagers forgetting some of the simple tenents of betting good hands and keeping small pots with bad ones. Calling with trash thinking we can blow our opponents off hands, and excusing our sloppy play by arguing that we will out play our opponents post flop.
