If I know I'm going with it I shove the turn.. are you repping quads here? 77? I'm not sure how light your squeezing range is here or what he perceives it as, but this is either a flopped flush or nothing.. I don't really like it.

I wanted to shove the turn but for some reason it felt like I'd have more fold equity if the river blanked off and I shoved because then I couldn't be on a semi-bluff. Plus if he checks behind on turn it's a lot more likely he has JJ/QQ or a diamond draw.

Yeah but if you have an overpair, wouldn't you shove the turn? It's likely he's drawing himself. I just don't think he's folding much to your shove because it looks more desperate. If you bet like 110 it'd accomplish the same thing and save you money if he shoves.

As for the hand the villain folded after about half a bar of thought (so JJ maybe? Or maybe Ak who knows)

Still not totally sure what the best play is, prob c/f flop tbh. Shoving turn has it's merits but I feel like it still looks so much like a semi-bluff.

I dont like it too much. You rep too narrow of a range (flopped boat/AKdd/AAd/KKd)

if you have the A or K of diamonds, I like this much, much more.

Who cares if he folds the Ad?

If we dont have it, it means villains range can be larger, and ours is even smaller. This is not a good thing IMO in this spot.
