URGENT! Windows Media Player Error

I'm trying to watch the LA vs Chivas soccer game ( mms://a1045.l2047353044.c20473.g.lm....eflector:53044 ) but when I click that link I get the error messege "Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file. For additional assistance, click Web Help."

i assume you've tried the steps linked in that page that you've linked to.

so, i'd recommend using vlc - http://www.videolan.org/ - it seems to be a lot simpler, and more "resillient" that windows media player for me.

Try windows update (windowsupdate.microsoft.com/) click on custom and download and install All available updates, especially those that are driver related. Then reboot, revisit windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and make sure that you have everything. Reboot once more. If you problem isn't fixed, update your sound drivers on the manufacturers website.
