Default 15NL: flop top set in limped pot, wet flop

No specific reads on CO, doesn't seem to go out of line.

Texas Hold'em $0.10-$0.15 NL (real money), hand #759,969,925
Table Praha, 24 Aug 2007 1:09 PM ET

Seat 1: BB ($13.85 in chips)
Seat 2: UTG ($1.75 in chips)
Seat 3: UTG+1 ($10.40 in chips)
Seat 4: MP1 ($25.55 in chips)
Seat 6: HERO 7H,7D ($42.30 in chips)
Seat 7: CO ($23.90 in chips)
Seat 8: BTN ($12.65 in chips)
Seat 10: SB ($12.95 in chips)

PRE-FLOP
MP1 calls $0.15, HERO calls $0.15, CO calls $0.15, BB checks.

FLOP [board cards 6H,7C,4C ]
BB bets $0.35, MP1 folds, HERO bets $1.10, CO bets $2, BB calls $1.65, HERO bets $41.05 and is all-in, CO calls $21.75 and is all-in, BB folds.

My main question about this hand is am I on the right track playing ranges instead of specific hands i.e. how is my thinking here (read on)? The thing being: after CO's minreraise on the flop I srtrongly feel he has the straight and my nitty me feels the urge to just call in hopes of filling up. This play would have the following disadvantages:
- draws get to see cheap cards (BB?)
- I loose value to second best hands when scarecards hit on turn and river

Advantage: obv. calling down might save some chips vs. made straight.

Second question: with this and the common loose passive nature of micro stakes games and the deepish effective stacks in mind: what is the better play here? calling, rereraising (to $...?) or pushing?

Oh yeah, third question: any handconverter for ongame handhistories out there?

I think I would prefer a re-raise in this instance. You are pretty much going to blow out most worse hands, even draws, that will call a raise. In effect your letting your villains play perfectly against you. In some instances your gonnna get set vs set, or set vs overpair, but in general you are gonna get folds and not a lot of value.

Yeah this allows micro players to play much better than they should be playing. I definitely don't mind stack off at some point though.

OK, thanks for your response. So, my thinking is ok and the weak passive line I used to take just misses too much value in these kind of situations, because I can't know for sure opp has the straight, right? Reraise to about 6 or so? Should I be less willing to stack off if I have bottomset here?

Reraise to about 6 or 7 sounds good, top, bottom or medium set can be played pretty much the same way here.

So what does our hero do if he re-raises to $7 and villain goes all-in? We can't fold here, can we?

Not at this level. This could be a 5 or FD for all we know.
