Re: $27 lead out w/ set ? multiway raised pot
On that relatively dry board I like a weak lead for like 100. If you get raised then shove over. If you get flat called then at least you've built the pot for a bigger bet on later streets. If nobody caught any piece of the board and they all fold, then you probably wouldn't have won any more chips anyway.

you'll extract more chips in the long run leading out, but would maybe bet 140-160. but looks good as played too.

Re: $27 lead out w/ set ? multiway raised pot
I play it the same, and I don't bother leading much weaker - if they have something to stack off with they'll call anyway, if they only have overcards they can't get that excited if they hit the turn and you still like your hand. Plus a weak lead makes your hand look a lot stronger if you still like it when reraised.
A larger bet also makes a push from UTG or someone else a bit more likely - if they just raise you, then you have to decide the best time to reveal the strength of your hand, might miss a bet on the turn if you decide to trap and they check behind, etc etc. A big bet encourages them to trap themselves a bit more, IMO. |

Re: $27 lead out w/ set ? multiway raised pot
both leading out and c/raising are fine here. the main argument for the check is that you can trap money in the pot where you dont give people the chance to call a bet with as wide a range by leading out. however, by leading this amount you still give yourself a good chance at pot building and itll make stacking off easier vs a lot of opponents; this is totally fine. nh.

Re: $27 lead out w/ set ? multiway raised pot
I may try a checkraise here although it is possible someone may have 89s. If it is checked around and a scare card drops on the turn atleast you can prevent the pot from getting too big OOP and continue from there. Anyone with a straight at that point will lead out and you can safely call unless there's more action so that you can redraw to a FH.
