the river bet is good. If you check/call your only putting in a bet when behind rarely when ahead. I fold to a raise on any street.

perfect.... bettings way better than ck calling I think on the river (or turn). Its not a value bet on the river probably but a defensive bet
ud rather bet as a dog than ck call in a pot this size, clarkmeister theorem. Really if u cant ck fold and its likely he ll call with more worse hands when u bet than he ll bet when u ck call, betting wins more money so thats what u should do, and how you have to think about it. This is a bit oversimplified as it leaves out the possibility of a bluff raise if u bet, but u get the idea of what factors matter here. |
