set on a drawheavy board
probably should have folded on the flop, but turned my set, any doubts to shove?

Re: set on a drawheavy board
UTG raise preflop is marginal. With what hands did u see him do this?
This raise preflop means (I think): - AA - AK - AQ - KK - JJ You are beating 1/2, so It's a close call. Hard spot to be in! |

Re: set on a drawheavy board
havent paid attention to villain at that stage. The thing is am I willing to commit my stack for a set, that is already beat? The reraise is weird I give you that, but AK would make sense dont you think?

Re: set on a drawheavy board
As played I can't fold this turn.
Nemesis69 don't see why raising TT UTG is marginal.. I would call the reraise PF and probably play for set value and fold to his flop bet. |

Re: set on a drawheavy board
umm raising TT utg is super standard , if your limp/calling raises its very easy 2 put you on a PP and when u hit a set your not going to get paid off as often because its obvious u have a set ...whereas if you raise TT/all PP's and some other hands it masks your range and players cant put u on a range as easily if u raised JJ+AK ...
yea and im folding flop as well |

Re: set on a drawheavy board
I fold flop.
As played, it really depends if you want to gamble. There is a good chance he doesn't have the straight, but any 9 or AK that ends up being his hand means you're needing to redraw to the FH. 2x pot bet on turn with that board I'd be inclined to say he has a flush draw, air, or somehow has a 9 in his hand, so I'd probably call 50% of the time |

Re: set on a drawheavy board
eh fold flop, preflop is fine you got limp/RR'd villians range is AK,AA,KK and maybe QQ imo you beat non of those on the flop so I fold flop.
As played your behind AK and QQ which are a big part of his range I have a hard time calling this. maybe someone less lazy than me can stove this . |

Fold the flop.
IF you decide to call flop, then obv call turn because what else were you waiting for? |

Re: set on a drawheavy board
Isn't a limp/minreraise AA/KK 99% of the time?
I think I would call here, but punch myself in the head if he has AK. |
