Default 2 Hands from first 100NL session

1)CO is 15-5-1.8 after 928 hands (most mined). No reads other than he obviously seems tight.

Full Tilt Poker - Pot Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $107.25
BB: $100.00
UTG: $65.75
Hero (MP): $135.35
CO: $133.40
BTN: $58.30

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.50</font>, CO calls $3.50, BTN folds, SB calls $3.00, BB folds

Flop: ($11.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $7.50</font>, CO calls $7.50, SB calls $7.50

Turn: ($34) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $18.00</font>, CO calls $18.00, SB folds

River: ($70) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero ???

Do I want to try to get it all in? What is the best way to do it?

2)This hand SB is a complete maniac, he has c/r me on the flop and lead big on turn with air, and has constantly bet very large with nothing. He almost auto pots when you show any weakness. Co is pretty solid, probably one of you. He is playing 30-20-3 over ~200 hands.

Full Tilt Poker - Pot Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

SB: $123.20
BB: $62.00
UTG: $137.60
Hero (MP): $159.25
CO: $100.00
BTN: $32.70

Preflop: Hero is dealt 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (6 Players)
UTG folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3.50</font>, CO calls $3.50, BTN folds, SB calls $3.00, BB folds

Flop: ($11.50) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero checks, <font color="red">CO bets $8.00</font>, SB calls $8.00, Hero calls $8.00

Turn: ($35.50) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 Players)
SB checks, Hero ??

Whats my plan with a complete maniac (SB) and a decent CO left to act?

The plays are probably pretty basic, but I made the wrong decision on both while playing so looking for some insight.

I bet more the whole way through on the first hand, definitely about 10-11 on the flop, then another 80-90% bet on the turn. If CO is tight he is gonna show up with 2 pair a lot of the time on the river in #1, I just bet 55$ or so.

I semi-bluff that flop in #2 probably, as played I bet 27$ on the turn and probably get it in (even though I wouldn't love it).

Hand #1

Bet about $50 or so, and hope he calls, checking here is a mistake so dont do it.

Hand #2

Dont get fancy just lead about $27 into the pot

You gotta bet more on the turn in hand one, I make it 30 or so.

Hand two, lead the turn, he checks behind a lot here and you dont want lone diamonds drawing for free.

your goal with both hands should b e to get all in by the river with a nice sized bet that will often be called.

so do the math and bet amounts that allow you to do this.

hint: the bet sizes necessary will be much closer to pot sized bets than the ones you are making.

hand 1)
is $7.50 your standard c-bet? id rather open for $4 and if its HU i almost always c-bet at least $8 and id c-bet full pot if its a really drawy board and im trying to protect my hand. its not hu and im gonna bet $10 here.

turn id like to see you valuebet more here. i dont think i see a 15/5/1.8 regularly calling flops to try to make a gutshot with QT. i also dont see him calling with QT with the intention of betting if checked to on the turn with whatever card that comes. he just isnt aggro enough for me to see him pulling this type of play off. id bet $35 into $42 here.

river here the pot is gonna be $112 instead of $70. this now sets you up for an easy shove. i dont think youre getting enough value from bigs hands like this.

hand 2)
betting the turn instead of checking depends on one thing for me. if i think that CO is going to fire a second barrel im going to c/r all-in after i expect to have your maniac call. if i see him as checking im going to 3-4 to pot bet it and expect to either take the pot or get a call from the maniac.
