Media and Vista Concerns

Hi guys,

I bought a new set-up a month ago and Itunes worked fine for a few days along with quicktime. 2 days into it I left ITunes running, came back ITunes was closed.

I tried restarting it and ITunes wouldn't open and neither would quicktime.

This is annoying on 2 fronts;
1. Have to update my IPOD from my laptop which is slow and ghey
2. Have to watch all .mp4 videos on my laptop which is slow/ ghey/ smaller screen.

Help me
