Here's a tidbit:

Title: Phil Hellmuth Gets Excited
Log: Phil Hellmuth has been verbally jarring with another player at his table for a couple of hours. It finally came to a head when Hellmuth claimed that the player slowrolled him at the end of a hand. The two started a very heated conversation that ended with Matt Savage being called over. Both players were given warnings and play continues.

I don't think it's a good idea to be poking at someone who can read as well as Phil can.

It's a short field, could make for a pretty good final table.

A piece of WPT trivia I found interesting/disturbing: In all of the WPT events so far, Danny Nguyen has been the only player to ever eliminate all 5 of the other players at the TV final table. Disgusting.

Men Nguyen: eliminated with QQ vs Danny's JJ - makes quad Js on the river

Corey Cheresnick: eliminated with J8 vs Danny's 74 - outdraws to trip 7s on the river

Shandor Szentkuti: eliminated with 98 vs Danny's 65 - drew 2 pair, immediately after the sick AK vs A7 catastrophe

Gus Hansen: eliminated with KT vs Danny's 99 - holy hell, he actually had very slightly the best of it for once.

Jay Martens: eliminated with K4 vs Danny's 43 - of course, a 3 on the river

I wish Danny would win another event.

Well he has to play ridiculously tight right now to anyone who saw that FT. That's probably why he's just limping along and still in the tournament.

He busted about halfway through day 1. All-in with 97s on 966 flop, called by 76s. AA turn/river, and he's done. The guy that eliminated him (Stuart Fahmy) is the chip leader with 125k. (from cardplayer.com)

Hellmuth video interview, he is pretty much berating Chip Reese:

I wonder if Chip asked Phil to sign his bounty shirt.

He wasn't berating Chip Reese.. Just said that he thinks he's shown Chip too much respect and let him bluff him out and Phil is going to start lifting his game against him.

He berated the other guy for slow rolling him.
