Default another 2-7TD blind defence

villain seems aggressive over the few hands I've been at the table. a bit of chatter seems to indicate he isn't a drooler

Triple Draw 2-7 Lowball Limit ($0.50/$1) (.com/greenage22/Triple_Draw/Converter.html]converter)

SB ($17.75), Seat 6
Hero ($55.55), Seat 1
UTG ($22.05), Seat 2
MP ($11.50), Seat 3
CO ($24.50), Seat 4
Button ($57.45), Seat 5

Button at Seat 5.
SB posts $0.25. Hero posts $0.50.

Hand: [Tc 7d 4c 7s 3s]

Round 1: (1.50 SB)

<font color="#666666">UTG folds. </font><font color="#666666">MP folds. </font><font color="#666666">CO folds. </font><font color="red">Button raises. </font><font color="#666666">SB folds. </font><font color="green">Hero calls. </font>
Hero discards Tc 7s. Button takes 2.

Hand: [7d 4c 3s 9h Js]

Round 2: (4.50 SB)

<font color="green">Hero checks. </font><font color="red">Button bets. </font><font color="green">Hero calls. </font>
Hero discards 9h Js. Button takes 1.

Hand: [7d 4c 3s As 6c]

Round 3: (3.25 BB)

<font color="green">Hero checks. </font><font color="red">Button bets. </font><font color="green">Hero calls. </font>
Hero discards As. Button takes 1.

Hand: [7d 4c 3s 6c 6h]

Round 4: (5.25 BB)

<font color="green">Hero checks. </font><font color="red">Button bets. </font><font color="#666666">Hero folds. </font>

Total pot: (5.25 BB - $5.25)

should I be drawing to a rough 7 on the third draw after villain draws one?

is it +ev to bluff the river without a strong read?

When you defend without a deuce (or 8x3) you should either catch one early, fold, or snow. Don't keep paying to draw at straights.
