He may be older but he's not a nit. This line is ridiculously strong though it's hard to put him on much other than a set or 97s, maybe the same hand as you I guess. Folding seems pretty ok.

nono just bet/fold, I think you played it perfect. edit: probably bet a bit less on river but still big enough to get good value.

if he doesn't know you then I definitely like folding. Also I think checking the river is reasonable. We are hoping he has something like AK, KQ, there's pretty decent chance he simply bets those hands for us, especially AK. Honestly what else can he possibly have that we beat? KTs I guess, but really there aren't many hands.
