Default Difficult Preflop Decision

I was playing in a crazy 25-50-100 game live in NYC a couple days ago. The table is playing super aggressive with a couple huge maniacs that seem to just not have any capability to ever fold and love to put people for a decision for all their chips.

I have 20k and the maniacs cover. A couple people limp in early position and one of the maniacs then raises to 5k. The other maniac right after him then shoves his entire stack in and it then folds to me and I get AA.

I called, but then lost to one of the maniacs Q4o which made a straight, but it got me to thinking perhaps there is a better spot to get my money in. Should I be giving up in this spot with the nuts?
