Default TruePoker...good site?

I'm considering playing there. Anyone here play there? I checked BW, but their info is oftentimes incomplete and not 100% accurate.

How is the game quality? Lots of fish? Are low-mid limit games readily available? How's support? Software? Rakeback? How many tables are allowed at once? General impressions?

I don't play there, but I've been planning on checking it out. Their representative ("TruePoker CEO") on this forum has always been VERY helpful.

Ive played there on and off for awile now.Brief thoughts, very soft games if you can find them, very little traffic.Software is fine, great eye-candy if that excites you.If you play just one table id say give it a look,if you like to multi-table you better have another site flying at the same time.Agreed about TrueCEO,has never hid behind anything(even through problems here in states),and has always been very helpful.Ive never had CS problems or cashout problems eithor at TruePoker.***Just to add,Scorer is right about the software being slow, but ive experienced no DC problems or weird aberrations like on some sites.Cough,Cough,Wink,Wink,Cake.

Yeah...he's the reason I'm considering this site. He seems to be pretty helpful and informative whenever he posts. Figured that probably means good CS for TP at least.

One reason why I'm considering moving is that I'd like to see if there are softer games than those at Stars (while still being able to multi-table). Given all the crap going on at FTP, I'm weary of joining up there. Anyone have any suggestions for a mid-stakes, limit, multi-tabling, American player looking for soft games? Maybe I should play at 2 med/small sites at the same time? Or just go for UB or Absolute?

I used to regularly play on their site, until one day after making a deposit by eppassport(not my first), they asked me to send them additional info to verify my identity.

I had made numerous deposits in the past, without a single incident, and they suddenly and without explanation need me to send them more information about myself before I am allowed to play anymore.

I e-mailed asking them why, and they just said they "needed it" without giving a reason as to why.

Subsequently, I am now locked out of playing on any of the skins.
I had an account on three different skins, so I was really a good loyal customer who made frequent deposits......and then boom... No more play for me.

This happened about 5 months ago and I haven't gone back since.

I'm not sending them anything, until they at least explain to me why I have to give more info than any other customer/player.

I believe some poker sites will do that randomly as some sort of security check. I wouldn't get huffy about it, they're not targeting you. Just give it to them.

I've played at True Poker a couple of times, including shortly after Party/Cryptos/etc. abandoned the US. The only problem I ever had there was finding a game. Active tables were pretty rare, sometimes only one or two total on the whole site.

I hope you're better at guessing your opponents cards as you are their age.....I'm 40

I have the right to know why I have to give them more info than anyone else.

It's that simple.

The ugliest, most irritating software I've come across with that stupid 3d table BS.

Hands play slower than live casino play.
