I think a raise is correct, since I'm not closing the action. He could be betting anything from a weaker A to a flush draw. My only reason for considering a call would be to let him continue to bet with a likely weaker hand, but something about that doesn't feel right. Looking back, I think I should raise somewhere around the size of the pot. Thoughts? |

players with that vpip like to play smaller aces so i think youre way ahead.
2$ bet on the flop feels like a feeler-bet, if i've seen him 2/3-barreling i'd just call like you said, but i think against an unknown you should raise for information. raise to 5-6$ should be enough to get information and a bad player will maybe still call with his underpair or weak ace. with a weaker hand he'll probably not fire bigger bets on later streets anyways. |
