Re: Turn3bet!?
What can you do but call down? He's probably got AA/KK, but we hope to see TT or AJ.

Re: Turn3bet!?
It seems at least somewhat close between calling and 3-betting vs an aggressive opponent blind v blind. Depends how he plays these sorts of situations. If he seems pretty aggressive already, there's a reasonable chance we're ahead given that even pretty weak-tight people can spew a lot in this sort of situation.
You can't read a whole lot into his turn aggression stats, as it could well be just that he's been running well or folding a lot. You get pretty big swings over this small a sample size. So I'd be going more on what sort of feel I have about his game. We often have at least 6 outs when behind to help rescue us when we're capped... but unless we're prepared to fold our overpair that helps us less than it otherwise might (and folding is not something I'd be able to bring myself to do without a much better read). So I'd just call and c/c the river and commence with the note taking. |

Re: Turn3bet!?
his 30/9 vpip/pfr means that he probably has a pretty tight 3bet range
his range here is probably 88+ AJ maybe JKs or TQs Board: Js 9h 3d 8c ........equity Hand 0: 41.886% { 88+, KhJh, KsJs, QhTh, QsTs, AJo+ } Hand 1: 58.114% { QdQs } so we shouldn't 3bet because we are going to be capped by a lot of the hands that beat us does that range look ok? |

[/ QUOTE ] I'm always sceptical pf. Perhaps too much so. But a lot of kind of tight/cautious people seem to play raise or fold in this situation, and actively look for reasons to raise. Especially if you seem aggro and/or have been attacking their blinds a lot. I'd probably add TT. Maybe A9s/K9s. We might also have to add in offsuit broadways. Meh. I don't think it changes the situation much given how much of his range he probably caps (as you say). I'd still call without a better read and adjust in future if he shows something like A8. |

Re: Turn3bet!?
Without any special read I just call down on this board. When you have one pair and you get raised by a reasonable player on a J98x turn board, after you capped preflop and bet both streets, youre in a crying calldown situation, even in a blind vs blind scenario.

Re: Turn3bet!?
raised on turn on a coordinated board with just an overpair means it's time to call down and expect to be beaten most of the time but probably face TPTK often enough to go to SD´when the pot is reasonable big.
