I dont think an 8 is really in their range, I think they could well have AQ or KQ for TP, maybe KQ is more likely for TP+OESD. One of these would fold riv and the other you lose to.

However I reckon their range also includes some Tx (TQ, TJ, T9) where they had combo pair + oesd, which have now rivered 2p. Depending on how much you think this is in their range and how likely they'll call a river shove with them would determine if I shove riv or not. With his stats I may just check behind.

bet more on the turn. now check, unless you're 100% sure he'd never check a straight on the river(some ppl are like this, although it's been ages since I played 200nl so I dunno the norm)

How are we responding to a turn check-raise and what exactly is the idea behind bombing the turn? Because we expect to get called by hands like JT? Or maybe to valuetown two pairs before the board turns more ugly?

bet turn bigger to get more value from everything you beat/that is drawing, call shove obv. since you're prob about even or just ahead vs his turn shoving range and you would already have a lot committed to the pot.

check river behind

I don't see why ppl want to check behind, as played.

The field of players who check Kx on the river is absolutely tiny. 8x is very unlikely as well. That leaves a whole ton of two pairs and AQ as well. The T is actually not that bad of a card because villain can have a bunch of pairs+OESD like QT, JT, T9.

And there are good amounts that we can bet and fold to a raise because we are never bluff raised and can easily fold, no matter what the odds are.

I thought MSNL could bet more thinly than SSNL.
