Default Simple pf question

NL200. UTG 18/12 raises to 8, MP 29/8 calls. Hero is OTB with ATs and a full stack. Both villains cover. Should I call? And what hands should I be calling with?

34s, seriously? What's the plan postflop with these hands? Just go bonkers if you flop a draw, and hope to get there if you get called?

The answer here is, "you play poker." But since I hate terse answers...

You're in position... call if you get odds, fold if you think you're behind. If someone early leads pot and gets 2+ callers the chances your flush is best go down a bit. You have to know that you're a bit vulnerable to higher flush and recognize situations where you're behind. Use your reads and make good decisions.

You don't ever 'go nuts' with 34s unless you flop 444, 333, or 443.

ehhhhh because I narrowed it down too little, or eehhhhh because I narrowed it down at all?

When I think 'go nuts' I think 'disregard whatever's happening at that table and push' ... which I guess you shouldn't EVER do...

Our old friend Ed Miller has an article on playing hands like 43s in position over at his blog today (link). Short version is that when you're playing these hands you're primarily looking for places to steal the pot, not make a big score with a 443 flop.
